Zero budget natural farming practices on yield of crops (Maize + soybean and Pea + coriander) in mid hill of Sikkim Himalayas

Natural Farming (NF) is an alternative low-input, climate-resilient farming practice that have emerged to reduce input costs and higher yields for farmers from locally available inputs by eliminating the use of chemical fertilizers improving soil fertility. In this article, it was physico-chemically characterized different formulations (jeevamrit, ghanjeevamrit beejamrit) parameters found varies at interval days. This present article mainly focused on cropping system natural also evaluating economics returns with conventional system. Therefore, practiced are Maize soybean during kharif season followed vegetable pea coriander rabi season. Result practices in + maize intercropping revealed maximum sole yield recorded under AI-NPOF packages 26.1 q/ha complete 21.4 whereas other treatments remained non-significant. intercropping, be (35.9 q/ha). The BC ratio highest Packages (1.82) (1.20). pea-coriander system, package (70 q/ha) NF (61.4 equivalent were NF. result indicated farming, vegetable-based profitable comparison based terms net returns.
